Pets

A critical decision that needs to be made when securing our Property Management services is whether or not to allow pets.

As a professional Property Management company, our experience shows that allowing pets definitely opens the property to a larger market.

Our general policy is to allow most pets, the exception being dogs that are deemed aggressive animals by the CDC. The  most aggressive breeds listed by the CDC, include:

  • Pit Bull Terriers
  • Doberman Pinscher
  • Rottweilers
  • Staffordshire Terriers
  • German Shepherds
  • Chows
  • Bull Mastiffs
  • Huskies
  • Alaskan Malamutes
  • Wolf – Dog Hybrids
  • Great Danes
  • St. Bernards
  • Akita
  • Belgium Shepherd
  • Rhodesian Ridgebacks
  • Farm and Ranch animals
  • Any attack, non-domesticated or guard dog
  • Any non-domestic or exotic animal
  • A mixed breed which includes any of the above
  • Any animal with a past history of bites or attacks

Generally speaking, however, we feel that most pets are fine and that if the Tenant is responsible, there is very little to worry about.

Our general policy is to charge $25 per month per pet. Additional deposit may be required for applicants who have more than 3 pets.

Important: Keep in mind that, in certain circumstances, you must allow pets if the Tenant provides certain documentation. This may occur in the cases of a Service Animal or an Emotional Support Animal.
