Installation of the CO detectors and having fire extinguishers available are low cost and a small price to pay to make your rental properties are as safe as they can be.

If a fire extinguisher is used immediately on a fire, it can prevent personal injury from occurring and save the life of your Residents. As a landlord, it is your responsibility to ensure the safety of your Residents, and by adding a fire extinguisher, you are decreasing the risk of injuries occurring from a fire. By installing a carbon monoxide detector you are also ensuring the safety and health of your Residents by preventing any CO poisoning from happening.
